12 Sustainable Kitchen Essentials

Almost everything what you buy is packed in plastic, from your fruit and vegetables in your local grocery stores to oceans filled with plastic water bottles. Every minute people around the world purchase one million plastic water bottles and two million plastic bags.

For every single plastic bottle, it will take 1,000 years to degrade, so think about that every time you buy a plastic water bottle. Eventually, all those bottles will break apart into microplastics and end up in the oceans, tap water and even table salt. We, humans, created this problem but it has an impact on all living creatures and the whole planet.

We can all do better with a few simple changes that will lead to making the earth even more beautiful. Choosing for reusable and not disposable, by pledging to refuse using single-use plastic.
